From sensor reading to IAQ assessment

Every Smart Sense monitor is connected to the Smart Sense IAQ platform. The platform collects the readings, checks their quality and turns them into an Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) score, so facility managers, schools and homeowners can see at a glance whether the air is healthy and what to do if it is not.

Six sensors sample the air every second; values are averaged each minute.

Getting a reliable assessment

Place the monitor at breathing height, 1.0–1.5 m above floor.

Keep ≥ 1 m from windows, doors, vents, radiators and direct sun

Use one monitor per room; one per 50–100 m² in open spaces.

Allow 24 h after installation for CO₂ baseline and PM averages to settle

Assess over at least one full week to capture typical occupancy.
